Many of these issues are of interest to our friends at Forest Lake, whether you be a summer friend or a full-time resident. The Township of Harrington has a new building inspector. The new Director of Urbanism and Public works is Mr. Yohann DaSylva. He can be reached at 819-687-2122 ext: 1.

It would appear that Mr. DaSylva’s contact information has not been updated on the Harrington website as of yet and that Catherine Rowlands is incorrectly listed as building inspector.

It seems I may have neglected to include the Municipality of Harrington’s website among My Favourite Links. Probably due to the fact that when the site was originally launched a couple of years ago, it simply was not very well designed or useful.

Our big sister lake to the north (Lake MacDonald) now has a website. A very warm Welcome to LAMAC. It has some features that we could also have if the FLA board was willing to be more open and cooperative. It is a nice site. Check it out.
