Unfortunately, due to the weather, Field Day has been postponed to Saturday, July 25th.

Please come on down to the park at about 9:30am to register rain or shine. This way, I can gauge interest, and make a decision as to whether to go ahead with the games regardless of the weather, or in the event it clears up later in the morning.

Just a reminder about Field Day, Saturday July 18th.

I believe the signs are up, but make sure you bring all your kids (and other people's kids) to the park by 10am or earlier to register. I will have the registration sheet with me so if you see me, come on by!

Just a quick note to thank everyone who participated in and donated to the Fundraising Horseshoe Tournament.
I had a great time, and I think everyone there did also. We raised $250 for the social fund and had a good time doing it!

Just a quick update for those who could not make it.
The weather was beautiful all morning and into the afternoon. It rained a little on our way back up to the lake, so the last few golfers may have gotten a little damp. The course was a little rough, but I think everyone had a blast and the course is the same for everyone.

I'd like to take this opportunity to wish Mr. Larry Salagan good luck in selling his cottage. Mr. Salagan has been in Forest Lake for my whole life, and it'll be a bit strange to not see him up there anymore. The place looks beautiful from the photos on mls.ca, and if I had the money, I'd buy it myself! That being said, if anyone has $200K lying around, let me know! ;-)
