If you are reading this, then you are may be a cottage owner/property owner at Forest Lake or a friend of one. Or you might be a resident of Harrington Township interested in checking out our 'Harrington' page. Whomever you are, we welcome you, and invite you get involved in our web site and join this on-line community.

Have a look around, but be sure to register by clicking here or on "create new account" on the upper left side of the site, and

then, after you have received an Email with a password, come back, log in to the site, and play with some of the features. Most important, once you have registered, you can try to add various forms of content, and get an idea of how the site works. We are counting on you to make this site your own!

Whether you register on the site or not we would like to hear your comments and suggestions for the type of content and features you would like to see on the site. You can provide us with feedback in several ways:

If you are puzzled about how to navigate around the site or how to use the features, we invite you to check out the 'Help' section. If you want to submit some content, (a photo, a story, an event etc..) and, after checking 'Help', you find the process too cumbersome, then Email us with your input and we will get it on the site for you.

Our website has been created by some interested Forest Lakers in the spirit of sharing information and fostering community among friends and family. It is independent of the Forest Lake Association Inc (FLA) board, and is neither endorsed nor sponsored by them. Think of us as the community newspaper, as opposed to the municipal government. As such, we invite you express your opinions and suggestions on any matters involving the governance of our community either by posting your thoughts directly, or by participating in some of our Forums (or starting your own)by clicking here. However if you need to contact the board directly you should do so via the usual channels.

Technical Info: The site is powered by Drupal, a free software package for building interactive community websites.
