Field Day Postponed

Unfortunately, due to the weather, Field Day has been postponed to Saturday, July 25th.

Please come on down to the park at about 9:30am to register rain or shine. This way, I can gauge interest, and make a decision as to whether to go ahead with the games regardless of the weather, or in the event it clears up later in the morning.

Just a reminder about Field Day, Saturday July 18th.

I believe the signs are up, but make sure you bring all your kids (and other people's kids) to the park by 10am or earlier to register. I will have the registration sheet with me so if you see me, come on by!

We would just like to say THANK YOU to Karen Sams & Alison O'Boyle for their shear determination to make Canada Day successful. We had a lovely time. Good friends. good food what else could you want? Everyone who attended brought food, drinks, chips, candies, hot dogs, hamburgers etc.etc.

Apparently after forty consecutive years the board of directors have decided to cancel Canada Day due to the lack of volunteers. Marc Vallee, Chris Lawson, Tom Finn
and friends having been doing this event for several years. We have also donated time and food to this event

Finally the tower is ready to be installed. It should be done this week or early next week. It will be very helpful for the saftey and a swifter response for the firefighters. Keep you updated as things advance.

Home sick for Forest Lake

Both Karen and myself have been looking into the future and only see the past when it comes to the great times we had at Forest Lake.
Our two boys have grown and are now 12 and 13 years of age.
As our circumstances have taken a turn for the better, we would like to return to the area and are looking to see if there is any cottage on the lake coming up for sale.
