Here is a summary of the Forest Lake Association events for the summer of 2009. Keep this information bookmarked for quick reference.

July 18, 2009 – Field Day for the Kids. Races & activities from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Hotdog bar-b-que at 1:00 PM.

Both Karen and myself have been looking into the future and only see the past when it comes to the great times we had at Forest Lake.
Our two boys have grown and are now 12 and 13 years of age.
As our circumstances have taken a turn for the better, we would like to return to the area and are looking to see if there is any cottage on the lake coming up for sale.

Fall colours are at their peak.

That's right, this week marks the fourth year that the Forest Lake On-Line website has been up and running.

The most spectacular rainbow in the east at dusk was capture by our friend Andy. Thanks for this moment in time.

A few people came up to me after the Forest Lake Association - Annual General Meeting to comment and thank me for clarifying the concept of Voluntary Contributions. Here are my notes from my presentation on the social events of Canada Day and Field Day 2008, including my views and ideas on Voluntary Contributions.

Just a quick note to thank everyone who participated in and donated to the Fundraising Horseshoe Tournament.
I had a great time, and I think everyone there did also. We raised $250 for the social fund and had a good time doing it!
