Several people on the beach this week-end were asking about the big raft.

We would just like to say THANK YOU to Karen Sams & Alison O'Boyle for their shear determination to make Canada Day successful. We had a lovely time. Good friends. good food what else could you want? Everyone who attended brought food, drinks, chips, candies, hot dogs, hamburgers etc.etc.

Apparently after forty consecutive years the board of directors have decided to cancel Canada Day due to the lack of volunteers. Marc Vallee, Chris Lawson, Tom Finn
and friends having been doing this event for several years. We have also donated time and food to this event

Finally the tower is ready to be installed. It should be done this week or early next week. It will be very helpful for the saftey and a swifter response for the firefighters. Keep you updated as things advance.
